Our staff members undergo extensive training and testing to become certified in our Clini-clean® program. The Clini-clean® certification teaches our staff how to clean and disinfect, while avoiding cross-contamination in strict observance of the guidelines set down by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), PHO (Public Health Ontario), the CDHO (College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario), the RCDSO (Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario), and other compliance-type governing institutions.

CliniShield® Disinfection Technology
To advance the science of disinfection, our employees combine our Clini-clean® dental office cleaning program with Farid Services' CliniShield® disinfection system.
Farid Services’ CliniShield® system uses ionized hydrogen peroxide technology that charges our hydrogen peroxide disinfectant as it passes through an electrostatic nozzle. The electrostatic spray spray system applies an attractive charge to the spray droplets to efficiently target pathogens on the most complex of surfaces. The process permits the disinfectant solution to treat hard-to-reach areas and even fibrous materials with a medical-grade, residue-free disinfectant that uniformly envelopes every surface, without dripping or overspray.
The active ingredient in the CliniShield® system (hydrogen peroxide) eliminates 99.99% of pathogens, and decomposes back into environmental water and oxygen, leaving behind no harmful chemicals or residues. This system is also ideal for hard-to-treat surfaces like overhead lighting fixtures, fabrics, keyboards, and other surfaces where bacteria and germs hide.

For the health and safety of medical facilities where hazardous waste, blood and airborne pathogens from Aerosol Generating Procedures (AGP) are present, the Clini-clean® system complies with Health Canada’s application mandates. Due to the cross-contamination vulnerabilities in these facilities, our certified dental clinic cleaners leverage:
- Microfiber Cloths – Comprised of fingers 50 times smaller than a human hair, they trap dirt and hold it in a positively charged state for more effective cleaning. These dirt magnets hold 50 times their weight in soil.
- Color-Coded Cleaning – Cloths and mops made of microfiber are categorized to clean specific areas to avoid cross-contamination. In support of our green cleaning initiative, these professional cleaning supplies are washed and disinfected after use.
- DIN-registered Disinfectants - All of our disinfectant products are Health Canada-approved and registered with a valid Drug Identification Number (DIN). The equipment and cleaning products that we use are handpicked and specifically intended for use in healthcare facilities.
- HEPA Vacuums – With 4 filters and ratings that exceed HEPA standards for clean air, this equipment supports an allergen-controlled environment for the facility and its staff, and for those with respiratory issues. Our HEPA vacuums will also NOT interfere or overwork your air purifier units.
